NABARD GM Visits Chikasingre Rural Haat: Six Months of Progress

Six months after the inauguration of the Rural Haat in Chikasingre, West Garo Hills, the General Manager of NABARD, Shillong, visited the marketplace along with Shri Kitmiller Sangma (DDM NABARD, WGH) and Mr. Francis (Programme Manager, Bakdil). During the visit, they interacted with local sellers and residents, discussing their experiences since the launch and providing insights into various NABARD schemes. This engagement highlighted the Haat's positive impact on local livelihoods and reinforced NABARD's commitment to supporting rural entrepreneurship and community development in the region.
